Lon Cunningham

March 19, 1937 - February 1, 2021

Lon Cunningham, 83 passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Rochester, Indiana on March 19, 1937 he was the son of Joseph and Neva (Dawson) Cunningham.

After attending Rochester High School, he married the love of his life Mary Keyser. Lon worked for Don Creed Lawn Care for 25 years. He loved anything to do with machines, especially John Deere. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the โ€œDukeโ€ John Wayne. Lon will always be remembered as being a devoted husband, family man and a love for life.

He is survived by his wife Mary of Plymouth; daughters: Debra Cunningham of Iona, MI; Penny (Larry) Cleveland of Plymouth; Melanie (Bill) Rowe of Lakeville; sons: Steven Cunningham of Bremen; Lonnie Cunningham of Plymouth and David Cunningham of Iona, MI; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Lon is preceded in death by his parents, son Roger Cunningham and his siblings.

Visitation will be held on Thursday February 4, 2021 from 12-2 pm. Funeral services will immediately follow with Pastor Diana Riddle officiating.

Burial will take place in the New Oak Hill Cemetery.

    Penny I’m so sorry for the passing of your father. Please know that we love โค๏ธ you and are praying for you and your whole family. Especially your Mom as I know she has never been alone. So happy Diana is doing his funeral we will see you there. Love and prayers for all of you.
