Lori L. Miller, 70, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on January 28, 1955, in Plymouth, Indiana, to Ralph and Sharon (Wolff) Duram. She graduated from John Adams High School in South Bend with the class of 1973. She met Gary while working at Walmart, and they became inseparable. On July 12, 2012 she married Gary Miller in Plymouth at Magnetic Park, he survives.
Lori worked in customer service for most of her life, retiring from Walmart in 2019 as a manager.
She had a gentle soul, one of a hippy, as her family lovingly described her. Lori was full of grace and love that would never turn a stray away, whether that was an animal or a human. However, she could be bold if she needed to be. A wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who filled the cracks of every room with her presence. Whether that was from her infamous pot roast, chicken and noodles, cookies, or her delightful fudge.
Lori had a knack for cross-stitching, painting, and diamond art.
She is also survived by her children: Heather (David) Johnson of South Bend; Howard Berkeypile of Plymouth; Ashley Driver of Mishawaka; John Craig of Plymouth; grandchildren: Elizabeth (Brendon) Davis, Michael (Kaylee) Spears, Ira Roberts, Maggie (Gavin) Roberts, Chelsea Roberts, Aalyah Garrett, Phoenix Garrett, 10-great-grandchildren; sister Lisa Switzer of South Bend; as well as her niece Lindsey (Nick) Noble.
Lori is preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Zoe Spears and her grandmother Estella Wolff.
