Margaret E. Mccollough

Services for former Plymouth resident, Margaret E. McCollough, will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2005 at 1 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St. Plymouth. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 23rd from 4 – 7 p.m.
Margaret, was born the daughter of George H. and Ruth (Bryan) Kelley in Marshall County on August 15, 1925. She graduated from Plymouth High School and lived most of her life in the Plymouth area. On her birthday in 1941 she became the bride of Max D. McCollough, together they would have two children and enjoy 55 years of marriage. Max died September 20, 1996.
Margaret had a 30 year career in banking, serving as a teller at the Plymouth State Exchange Bank and retired in 1982.
A long time member of the Plymouth Wesleyan Church, Margaret enjoyed visiting with family and friends, working crossword puzzles and a good game of cards.
In 1999, she moved to Inverness, Florida to be near her daughter and enjoy the mild winter climate. There she attended the Inverness Trinity Baptist Church.
For the past year Margaret resided under Hospice Care in the Citrus Rehabilitation Center at Inverness, where her passing came at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2005.
Left to cherish her memory are her two children; daughter Kay Ann and husband Jerry Wilhelm of Inverness and son Stephen A. and wife Edda McCollough of Cottonwood, Arizona, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a sister, Phyllis Mueller of Phoenix, Arizona. Her parents, spouse, two brothers and two sisters have preceded her in death.
Memorial gifts in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Plymouth Wesleyan Church or any Hospice Program.
