Margaret H. Miller

May 11, 1912 - December 23, 2002

Margaret H. Miller, 725 Poplar St., died at 9:50 p.m. of natural causes on Monday, December 23, 2002 , in the Rochester , Indiana , Life Care Center . She was 90 years old. Born in Chicago, Ill., on May 6, 1912, Margaret was the daughter of Roy C. and Anna Friend Dygert. On September 16, 1972, in Tyner, Ind., Margaret and Gale Miller were married. Gale died on January 14, 2000. A homemaker, Margaret was acclaimed as a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved to sew and to grow flowers and house plants. She was a member of the Tyner United Methodist Church. Margaret is survived by a daughter and three sons. They are: Carole S. (Wendell) Ringle, Rochester, Ind.; Charles Romig, Fayetteville, N.C.; Roger (Julie) Romig, Culver, Ind.; and Jon (Cindy) Romig, Argos, Ind. Sixteen grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren survive, together with a sister, Evadean Kring, Argos, Ind. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gale, a brother, a daughter, Marla Carmean and a granddaughter, Donna Treber. Friends may visit with the family in a celebration of her life on Friday, December 27, 2002 from 12 to 2:00 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Funeral services for Margaret will be held following visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Dave Inskeep, pastor of Tyner United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Tyner Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the Tyner United Methodist Church.
