Mark A. Swartz, 66, passed away at home on November 3, 2024 surrounded by the love of his family. A lifetime resident of Plymouth, he was born to John and Gloria Swartz on July 31, 1958.

On March 5, 1995, Mark united in marriage with Rose Peacock, beautifully merging their families and creating countless treasured memories. Family was the heart of Mark's life; he thrived in the presence of his children and grandchildren. Their laughter and joy filled his home, especially during festive gatherings where shooting off fireworks and his cannon became a family tradition. He also loved his beloved dogs. Whenever Mark was around, you could be sure that laughter would follow, bringing happiness to all who knew him.

Mark's dedication extended beyond his family; he served proudly in the Army National Guard. His military journey took him to Afghanistan with the 1st Battalion 151st Infantry Regiment, where his commitment to helping others shone through, earning him numerous medals and the respect of his fellow servicemen.

Those who were fortunate enough to know Mark will always remember his warm-hearted spirit, his playful sense of humor, and the contagious laughter that lit up every room he entered. Mark's vibrant personality was a gift to all, leaving behind an enduring legacy of love, joy, and the beauty of family connections.

Mark will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife, Rose; children, Kimberly (Brad) Amor, Karolynn (David) Sauer, Sarah (Adam) Lukenbill, David ( Chanon) Peacock, Curtis (Jackie) Peacock, Rebekkah (William) Wright; grandchildren, Camdin, Austin, Josh, Kelsey, Evan, Alexis, Nolan, Caitlin, Kaleigh, Kaiden, Kaylan, Maddie, Sophie, Shawn, Zoe, Lucy, Genevieve, Tom-Tom, Marcus, Lenyx, and Beatrice; 5 great-grandchildren; numerous in-laws; and sisters, Christine Newman and Shari Slough.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Gloria.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 5-7PM at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Army at 5PM.

A family cookout will be held at Mark’s Home at a later date.
