Marla Kay (Greenlee) Morgan, 46, a former Plymouth resident, passed away Monday April 20, 2009 following an vehicular accident. Marla was born September 6, 1962 in Plymouth, IN the daughter of Roger and Nila (Hendricks) Greenlee. As a Registered Nurse, Marla has been caring for others since 1985, primarily in geriatrics, she currently served as Director of Nursing at Heartland Health Care in Grand Rapids. On Oct. 13, 1984 she married Clyde W. Morgan Jr. who survives along with their two sons; Joshua and Benjamin Morgan both of Battle Creek, a daughter; Michelle (Ivan) McHerron of Grand Rapids, two grandchildren; Ivion and Ivan Jr. Her children held her heart and she was “MOM” to many. Also surviving is her mother Nila Greenlee and brother; David Greenlee both of Plymouth. A celebration service and luncheon will be held 3pm Friday April 24, 2009 at the Family Alter Chapel 14844 6 ½ Mile Rd in Battle Creek with Dr. Roger Thomson officiating. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence, 5470 Glenn Cross Rd., Battle Creek, Michigan, 49015.
