Marsha S. Halt

Marsha S. Halt, 74, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home in Plymouth.

She was born on August 11, 1951, in Plymouth, Indiana, to Joel and Marjorie (Hall) Singletary.

Marsha attended LaSalle High School in South Bend and graduated with the Class of 1970. She married Jerry Halt on September 1, 2001, in Culver. Jerry preceded her in death on August 31, 2013.

Marsha worked as a seamstress at Treat's Squire Shop. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor and her kind, loving heart. She enjoyed visiting the casino, crocheting, watching movies, and cheering on football. Marsha also had a special love for animals, especially her beloved dogs.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Ryan Shriver and Cory Freet; her grandchildren, Nevaeh Shriver, Torin Freet, and Cambria Freet; and her sister, Marge Savko.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerry Halt, and her brother, Joel Singletary.

In accordance with Marsha's wishes, no formal services will be held.
