Mary E. Sellers

May 22, 1956 - September 4, 2015

Mary E. Sellers, 58, a Marshall County resident since 1997, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Friday evening in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth Campus.
Mary was born in Marion, Indiana on May 22, 1956 to Wilbur E. and Evelyn M. (Haley) Dolby.
She worked for American Rubber in Laporte for over 10 years before most recently working for Nisco in Bremen for 13 years.
Mary became the bride of Jerry Sellers on December 23. They shared 23 years together. She then met Steven Foster Sr., whom she shared recent years with.
She was very crafty and was incredible at drawing, a gift she passed to her son Jeremy. She enjoyed going and listening to live bands play. She liked to go to the movies. When her children were younger, Mary was involved in their various activities, including Boy and Girl Scouts and sports. She cared for her daughter’s children while she worked, and was involved in her grandchildren’s activities as well. She was a loving mother and helped her children with anything she could, and treasured family holidays and get togethers. She lived a great life and was cherished by everyone that knew her.
Mary is survived by her children: Erica J. Sellers of Argos, Joshua J. Sellers of Plymouth, Jeremy J. Sellers of Plymouth, and Justin (Melissa) A. Mishler-Sellers of Bourbon; her companion, Steven Foster Sr. of Plymouth; grandchildren: Gage M. Sellers, Brody M. Sellers, Dominick R. Sellers, Chloe M. Cory, Aaron M. Norris, Sierra N. Norris; siblings: David (Sheri) Dolby of Marion, IN, Karen (Larry) VanZandt of Marion, IN, Greg (Amy) Dolby of Rhode Island, and sister-in-law, Donna Dolby of Rhode Island.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, William “DeWitt” Dolby and Geneva Boyd.
Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home with Chaplain Mary Ann LaPlante officiating.
Burial will be in the New Oakhill Cemetery on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
