Mary Gwen (Greenlee) Russ, 83, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Monday March 2, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Jennings and Lucille Greenlee of Plymouth, IN.
Gwen is survived by her husband, Charles Robert “Bob’ Russ; sons, Robin (Karen) Russ and Scott Russ; daughters, Sheri (John) Gray and Dawn Russ; grandchildren, Bethany Russ, Sydney (Rick) Meyer, Bayli (Chris) Bricker and Bobby Russ; great grandchildren, Hendrix Bricker and Ruso Bricker.
Gwen enjoyed reading, painting, sewing, tennis, bowling, bridge and all types of games. Gwen will be remembered for her loving nature, her bright blue eyes and beautiful smile that would light up any room. Gwen was a Dental Hygienist in Denver, CO and met Bob in her dental chair. The two were married just five months later and spent the last 62 years together.
A private Celebration of Life with immediate family will be held in April 2020.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.
