Mary Ann Wallace (Schaal) passed away on Saturday December 26, 2020.

Born in Plymouth, Indiana on November 9, 1953 she was the daughter of Ralph and Rula (June) Schaal. Mary attended Plymouth High School graduating with the class of 1972.

On July 7, 2018 she married Stephen Wallace in Plymouth.

She worked for 3M or AO Safety from 1987 to 2008. Before being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis she was a very energetic woman, and enjoyed taking part in her children’s school activities and extra-curricular activities. Mary would often join on band trips and take part Boy Scout activities, school trips and was a classroom Room Mother being active in the PTO, where she served as president for many years. She was also involved with the Union. She loved to garden, making crafts, loved the beach, and would take a lot of day trips to zoos, museums and amusement parks with her kids, bowling and sewing. She was known for being one of the most caring and giving people who loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Stephen Wallace of Plymouth; children, Kara (Andy) Crippen of Plymouth; Andy (Heather) High of Plymouth; sisters: Rose (Phil) Calvert of Muncie, IN; Karen Holdread of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and Diane (Hal) Scott of Etna Green, IN; grandchildren: Alexis, Chance, Calli, Addison, Grayson, Amelia and Hudson. As well as her nieces and nephew.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law Steve Holdread.

A graveside service will take place in the New Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.
