Maureen Moorhouse, 87, passed away with family at her side at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday March 31, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
Maureen was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 16, 1930 to Margaret (Gallet) Aumund and step-father, Emmett P. Aumond.
Moving to the Plymouth, Maureen would start a family and life in this area. After her children all graduated from high school, Maureen would then begin her college career.
She worked as a cook and later as a custodian for the Oregon-Davis School System while raising her four children. She later worked for Town & Country Press in Plymouth until her retirement.
Maureen loved plays and was a season ticket holder for performances at the Wagon Wheel Theatre in Warsaw.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela B. White, of Statesville, NC and her son, Michael “Mick†Moorhouse of Mountain View, CA; 6 grandchildren: Josh, Jennifer, Brittany, Nicole, Sondra and T.J.; and sisters, Jackie English and Jeanine Thoms of Illinois.
Maureen was preceded in death by her parents, children, Deborah L. and Daniel P. Moorhouse, grandson, Damon, and sister, Barbara.
Per her request, no services will be held.
