Michael J. Senetar, 71, of Grovertown passed away on May 20, 2023 at home in the loving care of his family. Born October 7, 1951 in Whiting, IN, he is the son of Michael Senetar Sr. and Katherine (Buwa) Senetar.
He married the love of his life, Linda Martin, on March 3, 1973 in Whiting. Shortly after he graduated from Indiana State, they moved to Grovertown where they would spend the last 50 years raising their family. Michael and Linda would have two children, Michael and Krisha.
Michael was very accomplished in his life. He was a self-taught farmer where he would spend over 20 years working on their family farm; working full-time during the day and farming in the evenings and weekends. Michael opened All Points Tool and Manufacturing in 2001 and it continues to be operated by the family today. He was a civic-minded person, spending his free time serving on the school and hospital board over the years. Michael also served as a Precinct Committeeman.
He is described by his family as being witty, outspoken, and opinionated. He always had a good sense of humor and a tenacious drive in him where if he set his mind to something, he was going to make sure it happened. He was highly organized in what he wanted to achieve in life and did not falter from what he believed in. Michael was considered a “jack of all trades” and even designed and built their family home and building where All Points Tool occupies. Michael loved his family and loved to cook for them – even coining the path between the farm and the house the “Food Trail” that brought everyone together for dinner.
Michael is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Michael (Lisa) Senetar III and Krisha Senetar. He is also survived by his brothers, Patrick and John.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Katherine.
A private burial will be held in Grovertown Cemetery.
In memory of Michael, memorial contributions can be made to the organization of the donor’s choice.
James Wilson says
Michael and family,
I would like to offer my thoughts and prayers in the passing of your father. In reading about him (and looking at the picture) you seemed very similar. He was a great man and you have honored him well in all you do. While having a loved one pass is never an easy process, knowing they are in a better place and looking over us is reassuring.
Remember all the good times, and pass along the vivid stories to everyone in the coming weeks, months, and years. Our time on this earth is too short, and the stories we pass along will live vividly in all who hear them.
Don and Diane Johnson says

Mary Kleinfehn says
Linda and Krisha,
You know that I am here whenever you need anything. Linda, maybe it’s just someone to talk to or to cry on someone’s shoulder. Krisha, same goes for you, but you need to keep an eye on your mom, and if she needs something that she isn’t telling me, you need to let me know. I know you will all have a hole in your hearts that can’t be filled, but I pray for your comfort and peace, knowing Mike is at peace.
