Mildred C. Clark

Mildred C. Clark, 95, of Plymouth, Indiana, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026. She was born December 5, 1930, in Raymond, Iowa, to William Heinen and Mary Lutgen-Heinen.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by all of her siblings except her sister, Marie Heinen from Traer, Iowa.

Mildred is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert L. Clark; daughters Cyndi (Chester) Borys of Plymouth, Laura (Ches) Gold of Lewisburg, TN, and Dana Cummins of Tacoma, WA; stepdaughter Staci (Mark) Casbon of Plymouth; and stepson Anthony Clark of Warsaw, 10 grandchildren, 27great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Mildred faced many trials, yet she met every challenge with remarkable strength and determination. She was a hard worker and never sat idle. She never gave up, and her resilience became one of the defining qualities of her character.

Mildred worked many jobs over the years, from banking, to owning her own business, and finally working at the Plymouth Hospital in the Physical Therapy Department. Mildred could balance any account, solve any problem, and learn anything she needed to. She also cared for older family members over the years, giving them the same love and dedication she poured into everything she did. She was deeply dedicated to her family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, May 30, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563.
