
Nancy J. Huggins, 78, a 7th Road resident of Plymouth for the past 43 years, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 20, 2011 of natural causes. Nancy had been in the tender care of her family and volunteers with the Center for Hospice Care.
Born in Mishawaka, Indiana on July 8, 1933, Nancy was the daughter of Lewis K. and Edith Claire (Siples) Perry. She was a 1950 graduate of Bourbon High School.
On May 24, 1969, she became the bride of Max E. Huggins in Bourbon. Max would sadly precede her in death on July 13, 1994.
Nancy was well suited as a homemaker and enjoyed the many visits of friends for round table discussions.
While growing up in Bourbon, Nancy attended the Methodist Church. In Plymouth she was a member of the Women of the Moose.
Surviving are her children: Cynthia S. Holland and her husband Dave, Patti J. Gean and her husband Bob Vest, Resa A. Warren and her husband Bryan all of Plymouth and Richard P. Storm and Marlene of Austin, Texas. Five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive along with a brother Thomas Hazen and his wife Joanne of Florida.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and spouse.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25th from 4 – 7 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth. Services will be held on Saturday, November 26th at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Krieg officiating.
Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bourbon.

Sorry to hear about your loss.We knew Grandma Edith and got to k now Nancy thru her. We lived down the road from Edith. We would visit Edith at Nancy\’s house. She would keep us informed about all her grandchildren. It is the end of another era. Love & Sympathy to all.
