Norma L. Edington, 52, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026. She was born at Parkview Hospital in Plymouth on August 5, 1973 to Manual Guerrero and Maria De Los Angeles Fernandez. She lived a life marked by love, strength, and devotion to those around her.
Norma will be remembered for her kind heart, warm spirit, and the way she made others feel seen and cared for. She had a gift for bringing people together and creating a sense of comfort and belonging wherever she went. Her presence left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Norma married Shayne Edington on March 28, 2008 after spending nearly 7 years together before they were united in marriage. She is survived by her beloved family and friends, who will continue to honor her memory through the love and values she shared. Norma’s legacy lives on in the loves she touched and the memories she created.
She is survived by her husband, Shayne; daughters, Sammantha Guerrero (Nathan Carver) and Randa Jones; grandchildren, Alic, Myah, Noah, Mikey, and Ellie; father, Manuel Guerrero; siblings, Juan Guerrero, Christina Guerrero, David Guerrero, and Jose Luba; along with many nieces and nephews.
Norma is preceded in death by her mother, Maria; grandsons, Ian Matthew Carver and Kristoffer Layne Cory; and her nephew, Anthony Guerrero.
A graveside service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bourbon, IN with Life Celebrant James Smart officiating.
