Norma M. Kizer

October 5, 1928 - September 17, 2018

Norma M. Kizer, 89, passed away with her sons and sister, Bonnie, by her side at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth.
Norma was born in her family’s home in South Bend, Indiana on October 5, 1928 to William Charles and Mary E. (Gilvin) Fritz.
She graduated from LaPaz High School with the class of 1946.
In the North Salem Church in Plymouth, Norma married Donald E. Kizer on May 23, 1948. He would proceed his bride in death on September 8, 2018.
A homemaker, Norma was a loving wife and mother to her children, Sherry, Daniel and David. She enjoyed music, reading and singing with the Marshall City Chorus. She was a member of the Timberland Bible Church in South Bend. Norma very much treasured playing games and cards with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Norma is survived by her two sons; Daniel (Cindy) Kizer of Lakeville and David (Kay) Kizer of Plymouth. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie (Tom) Swett of South Bend and brother, Donald Fritz of Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, daughter, Sherry Nunemaker and siblings: Wanda, Fawn, Dallis, Glen and Chester.
Visitation will be from 11-1 pm on Wednesday September 26, 2018 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 North Michigan Street, Plymouth, Indiana 46563.
Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm on Wednesday with Pastor Jake Ballard officiating.
The couple will be laid to rest together at a later date in the New Oak Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Timberland Bible Church, 16623 State Road 23, South Bend, IN 46635 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
