Pamela Hope Rosebush, 83, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Born on January 27, 1943 in Plymouth, Pam was the daughter of Dale and Helen (Cross) Peregrine.

Pamela graduated from Argos High School in 1961 and married Roger Rosebush June 11, 1961. Together, they raised two daughters, Lynn and Darlene. Family was always Pam’s first priority.

During her high school years, Pam was a majorette in the band and an active member of the Rainbow Society, the youth division of the Easter Star, where she advanced to the role of Worthy Advisor. A talented musician from a young age, she played the piano daily, and was proficient with the flute and piccolo as well. She was also blessed with a beautiful singing voice which she shared often.

Pam’s early work career included employment as a key punch operator at RitzCraft. To remain close to her children, she worked within the Argos School System as head cook for many years. One of her favorite jobs came later in life as she worked for the Marshall County Prosecutor’s office, retiring from there in 2005.

She was a longtime member of the Argos United Methodist Church, generously contributing her time as a Sunday School teacher and assisting with dinners. In 1967, Pam served as President of the Junior Civic League where she had an integral role in fundraising for the original playground equipment for the Argos Memorial Park. She also served the residents of Argos for four years as Councilwoman on the Argos Town Council.

She cherished watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow and delighted in sharing their latest accomplishments. Christmas held a special place in her heart, marked by weeks of decorating and thoughtful gift planning to ensure fairness for all.

Pam enjoyed many hobbies including crochet, crossword puzzles, shuffleboard, traveling, card games and working in her yard. Throughout the years, she looked forward to spending time with family at Holidays and gatherings. She enjoyed the occasional trip to Las Vegas and nearby casinos and trying her luck with lottery tickets.

Pam leaves a legacy grounded in faith, family and love. She will be remembered for her dedication, kindness and the ability to find humor in any situation bringing joy and laughter to those around her. A strong-willed woman, Pam remained steadfast in her beliefs.

Pam is survived by her sister, Jackie Crim, daughters, Lynn (Phil) Overmyer and Darlene (Jimmy) Marquardt: her beloved grandchildren, Kathy (Brandt) Ayoub, Benjamin (Shayna) Overmyer, Stephanie (Anthony) Mason, and Alyssa (David) Niles. Her great-grandchildren, Meredith and Natalie Ayoub, Kole, Evelynn and Walter Overmyer. Kalynn and Lilly Bullock, James and Harvey Mason, and Alaric Niles.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Helen Peregrine; husband Roger Rosebush; sister, Bev Brown; brothers-in-law Earl Crim, Glen Brown; and great-grandson, Warren Ayoub.

Pam will be laid to rest with the love of her life, Roger, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Argos. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of this deeply loved woman will be held at a later date.
