Patricia Marie “Tish” Miller, a devoted wife and mother of seven, passed from this life on Tuesday morning, December 11, 2007 in the company and loving care of her family. Tish died at her Grovertown home, following an illness, she was 51 years old.
She was born the daughter of Calvin and Betty (Kline) Michael, on November 14, 1956 in South Bend, Indiana. She received her schooling in North Liberty and has been a lifetime area resident.
On December 31, 1980 in South Bend, Ind., she became the bride of Rodger E. Miller. Together they engaged in farming and raising their family and she had served as a bus driver in the John Glenn School Corp. Tish was known to have an upbeat personality, a jack of all trades, who enjoyed home decorating, collecting Longaberger baskets and listening to 70’s music.
Survivors include her mother Betty who resides in North Liberty, spouse Rodger and her children: Charity L. (Ron) Nykiel of Bremen, Kinte’ M. (Noah) Jeffcoat of Mishawaka, Jenifer L. Benson of South Bend, Mackenzie E. Miller and Nicole J. Miller both of Grovertown, Scott W. Miller of Indianapolis and Jayson P. (Misty) Doerscher of Argos along with her six cherished grandchildren.
A sister, Sally (Michael) Garrett of Walkerton and a brother, Jeff Michael of Hamilton, Ohio also survive.
She was preceded in death by her father.
In respect of her wishes there will be no public services or visitation.
