Patsy S. Stockton (Mamacakes), 67, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Born on August 2, 1955 in Hayti, Missouri she was the daughter of William T. and Ruby F. (Williams) Stockton.
Patsy attended Argos High School graduating with the class of 1974. She worked for Culver Military Academy for over 30 years as a custodian. She took pride in her job and also had a lot of fun with her co-workers, playing pranks and making lifelong relationships.
She had such an inviting smile that would warm up a room as soon as she entered. She loved so much, friends and strangers, she would have literally given the shirt off her back. We’re grateful for her depth of love, endless support accompanied by a high level of sarcasm we all sustain to this day. And that woman could hug!
She was a die-hard Colts fan. So much, she would worry neighbors and send Ainsley scampering from her yelling. She also loved everyone sitting around the kitchen, playing board games, laughing until the wee hours of the morning. She loved being with family, either going out to eat fish with her brother (and whomever was there) or shopping for that hidden gem at an antique store, playing bingo and gardening tomatoes and her flowers. Her fried chicken and black-eyed peas will also be heartily missed.
Patsy was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #741 in Plymouth.
She is survived by her husband Clinton Richmond of Ora, IN; Daughters: Bridget Andrews (Culver), Tabitha (Christopher) Smith of Monterey, Tammy (Justin) Jordan of South Bend; Son: Michael Andrews (Culver) siblings: Marsha Toland of Plymouth; Christine Swinson of Olney, IL; Alan (Robin) Borders of Rome City, IN; Richard Stockton of Shelbyville, IL; as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, husband Michael Andrews, nephews: William Thomas Toland and Daniel Stockton.

My heart goes out to the family. Mamacakes was such a loving, sweet, funny, sarcastic woman. I loved her smile, acceptance of others, and her wit. She never held back the kind words or the not so kind words when people needed to hear it. 😂 May she live on in each of kids- smiling at those who need a smile, accepting others no matter the differences, and keep it real with those who need to hear the hard truth. RIP Mamacakes. We love you.

Patsy was a Beautiful person! So many things describe her, but she was a great friend to all who knew and loved her. I will miss all the talks, her sense of humor, but mostly her smile. We made a lot of memories over the years and there will always be an empty place in my heart. Patsy is at peace and out of pain. My prayers for the rest of her friends and family. Patsy will be dearly missed by the ones who loved and knew her.

I loved her very much. We had some great heart to heart conversations together. Remembering the card games and how Dad and Mike cheated…lol All the holidays and the fantastic meals she made for us. Her smile lite the room…she have gone but she will not be forgotten.
