Paul J. “Butch” Pranger, Sr.

Paul J. (Butch) Pranger, Sr., 85 of 10175 Upas Road died at 12:56 pm on Tuesday October 11, 2005 in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Butch was born in Phoenix, Illinois on August 15, 1920 to Alexander and Emma Bultmann Pranger.

He was a long time truck driver and retired in 1985 from the Indiana State Highway Dept.

Butch was and avid fisherman and hunter and bowled for Allied Seed in the Plymouth Bowling league. He loved to travel and was very fond of the state of Michigan.

He was a former member of the Plymouth Moose Lodge.

Butch is survived by four daughters and three sons they are. His daughters are Diana Pranger, Plymouth, Sarah J. and Donnie Coffin, Jr., Walkerton, Mary L. and Dennis Casey, Plymouth, and Sue A. and Robert C. White, Jr., Florida. His sons are, Paul J. and Tina Pranger, Jr., Plymouth, Marshall L. and Patty Pranger, Culver, James A. and Mary Pranger, Oklahoma.

He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Butch was preceded in death by a son, Glenn, a daughter Helen Pottoff and a brother George, along with his parents.

Visitation for Butch will be held at 11:00 pm Friday October 14, 2005 in the New Oakhill Cemetery Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm in the chapel.

Burial for Butch will be in the New Oakhill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Visiting nurses or the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
