Paula G. Sisler has passed away joined her husband Jack Stewart Sisler and daughter Tracy Jill Sisler in heaven. She was a mother, a grandmother, a wife, and friend to so many. She was a writer and an artist. She had her Mormon faith, and it always kept her strong through so many hard times. Diagnosed with Lupus at a young age, she fought and battled through it and lived in remission for some time. She is survived by her two sons, Jeff and Gary Sisler. She was loved and will be missed more than can be said. She will always be in our memories.
Paula will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021 in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.

I will miss my dear friend, Paula. She was a faithful example of one who is a true disciple of Jesus Christ, always willing to reach out and serve others, listen with a tender heart, share her testimony Christ’s gospel, and show sincere love to anyone who crossed her path. Even as she struggled with many health problems, she cooked delicious meals for others, chauffeured those needing rides to doctors appointments or to run errands, and volunteered in charitable activities. As a member of Mensa, Paula was highly intelligent and could converse about nearly any subject. She was fearless. As a professional during her young adulthood, she rose to every challenge which resulted in promotions to upper management positions. As a mother, she faced life-threatening illness with a devoted determination to live and raise her children. She overcame the grief and heartache that came with the death of her husband and daughter, growing a deeper compassion for others from the experience. After losing everything due to a house fire which occurred in California many years ago, she was elated to buy a home in Indiana which she enjoyed immensely during the last four years of her life. She decorated it beautifully, and opened her doors to share it with family and friends. I am sad to lose such a lovely friend, and will miss her. I am also happy to imagine the joyful celebration she is having as she is now with her loved ones, and is free from pain and sickness. I look forward to being a guest in the wonderful mansion Christ has prepared for his faithful daughter. I love you, Paula! God be with you ’til we meet again.

I so loved Sister Sisler, even though I didn’t know her very long. Her beautiful smile and upbeat attitude were something we all can emulate!
