Pearl R. Marsh

September 8, 1906 — January 16, 2000

Pearl R. Marsh, a resident of Marshall County for most of her 93 years, died of natural causes at 11:20 p.m., on Sunday, January 16, 2000.  Pearl died in the Mayflower Care Center, 309 Kingston Ave., Plymouth, where she had lived for the past five years.

Born the daughter of Edward and Augusta Linn Knepper on September 8, 1906, Pearl attended Green Township School through the 9th grade.

On March 16, 1926, in Marshall County, she and Lewis Fredrick Marsh were married.  Lewis died on September 8, 1981.

A homemaker, Pearl farmed with her husband for many years on their East 7th Rd. Plymouth farm.

She was skilled at ceramics and loved fishing with her husband.  She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and was clever with crafts and crocheting.

She attended and enjoyed the Sunrise Chapel Seniors Sunday School program.

Pearl is survived by two daughters, Edna P. Taylor and M. Maxine and John Myers, all of Plymouth.

Four grandsons also survive.  They are: Ronald and Barb Taylor, Bremen, Jerry and Pam Taylor and Doug and Lily Myers, all of Plymouth, and Todd Myers of Granger.  Seven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren also survive.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Betty, three sisters, Nellie Faulkner Sauer, Florence Eizinger, Molly Eizinger  and Harold Taylor, a son-in-law.  Two brothers, Hollis and Cyrus Knepper also have died.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, January 18, 2000, from 5 to 8 p.m., in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.

Funeral services for Pearl will be on Wednesday, January 19, 2000, in the funeral home at 2 p.m.  Rev. Charles Krieg, pastor of the Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
