Peggy Sue Hurley

August 21, 1971 — June 26, 2000

Peggy Sue Hurley, 28, 510 S. Main St., Culver, a resident of Marshall County most of her life except for a 10-year span in Indianapolis from 1988 to 1998, died at 10:54 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2000.  Peg died, following an illness, in St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, South Bend.

Peg was born in Plymouth on August 21, 1971.  She is the daughter of Donna Y. Keyser Loe and the late Bobby D. Hurley.  Her mother and step-father, James D. Loe, both of Culver, survive.

She attended Plymouth Schools and had worked at Fairmount Homes and later as a self-employed housekeeper, cleaning new homes.

Peg loved music and dancing and enjoyed fishing.

In addition to her mother and step-father, she is survived by her daughter, Vannessa Sue Rodriques, Knox.  Five sisters and five brothers also survive.  They are: sisters Candy Sue and John Lampkins, Plymouth, Brenda Lee Hurley, Middlebury, Cindy Ann Bailey and Tina Marie Hurley, both of Knox and Angela Dawn Schubert, Ohio.

Her brothers are Ron J. and Gloria Howard, Nappanee, Michael Eugene Bailey, Warsaw and Jerry and Cindy Ann Norris, Larwell, Jeffrey Scott and Becky Loe, Ft. Wayne and Thomas D. Loe, Kendallville.

Her maternal grandmother, Donnabelle Keyser, Plymouth, eleven nieces and nine nephews, survive as well.

Peg was preceded in death by her father, her maternal grandfather, Charles Keyser and her paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Lena Hurley.

Friends may call at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, on Wednesday, June 28, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Rev. D. O. Van Dyne, pastor of the 1st Baptist Church, Walkerton, will officiate at funeral services for Peg on Thursday, June 29, 2000, at 11 a.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone, Indiana.
