Phyllis Jean Miller

Jeanie Postlewaite Miller, 95, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026.

Jeanie was born on August 7, 1931, in Niles, Michigan, to the late Loren Carmen Postlewaite and Marie Viola Mitchell Postlewaite. She graduated from Plymouth High School in Plymouth, Indiana.

Jeanie and her husband, Richard, were longtime residents of the Tyner/Lapaz communities. After their children were grown, they lived in Florida before settling in Hilliard, Florida, in 2012. Jeanie returned to Plymouth in 2023. She attended the First United Church of Christ in Plymouth and enjoyed traveling, especially when accompanied by her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jeanie was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Simon (Gene Simon).

She is survived by her loving children, Vickie Hunter, Jon Miller, and Patricia Alwine (Kenny); her sisters, Sandra Mulberry and Judy (Virgil); nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory.

A Memorial will be held at Miller’s Assisted Living at a later date.

A luncheon for family and friends will served following the service.

Jeanie will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
