Richard E. Harris

September 2, 1954 - November 23, 2005
In Memorial

Richard E. Harris, 51, a resident of Plymouth for over 22 years, died at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2005, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth. The son of Walter R. and Betty L. Fugate Harris, Rich was born in South Bend on September 2, 1954.
He was a 1972 graduate of LaSalle High School, South Bend, and received an Accounting Degree from I.V.Y. Tech.
On November 12, 1983, Rich and Sandra S. Musser were married in the County Line Church, LaPaz, Indiana.
Rich’s most favorite past-time was spending time with his family. He also was active in his church, Shalom Fellowship, in Plymouth.
Rich is survived by his wife, Sandra, two daughters: Stephanie and Charles Hooks of Sioux City, Iowa and Betty Jo and Dione McGee of South Bend, and two sons, Brad and Chelsea Harris and Richard Harris, all of Plymouth.
His father and step-mother: Walter R. and Karen Harris of South Bend, five grandchildren and a sister: Vickie and Dan Wolkiewicz of South Bend, also survive.
Rich was preceded in death by his mother, Betty.
Friends may visit with the family from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2005 in the New Oakhill Cemetery Chapel, Plymouth, where funeral services officiated by Pastor James Gilmer of the Shalom Fellowship Church will be held at 2:00 p.m.
Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Memorial gifts in Rich’s name may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Plymouth.
