Richard Newman III

February 15, 1978 - June 4, 2021

Richard C. Newman III, 43, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 4, 2021 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.

Born on February 15, 1978 in Plymouth, Indiana he was the son of Richard C. Newman Jr. and Christine (Swartz) Newman. He attended Plymouth High School graduating with the class of 1997. On August 6, 2009 he married Carmen Hapner.

Richie loved working on and riding motorcycles. He spent time working on them from an early age at his father’s motorcycle shop. Richie would often refer of the fond memories of spending time with his younger brothers. He loved being outdoors and making new friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh and smile.

He is survived by his parents Richard C. Newman Jr. and Christine Newman of Plymouth; wife Carmen Newman of Plymouth; brothers: Eric Newman of Grovertown; Jordan Newman of Donaldson; children: Richard C. Newman IV “Ricky” of Plymouth; Chloe Newman, Caley Newman and Caiden Newman of Bremen.

Per the wishes of the family there will be no public services. A memorial will be held at the Newman home, 9850 Redwood Road, Plymouth, IN 46563 on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 4-6 pm.
