Robert A. Sellers

June 3, 1929 - February 1, 2018

Robert A. “Bud” Sellers, 88, passed away with his loving family surrounding his bedside at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday February 1, 2018.
Bud was born June 3, 1929 to Grover and Margaret “Dollie” (Duddleson) Sellers.
On November 19, 1949 in Knox, Indiana, Bud married Susie Patrick. The couple got to share 60 years together before her passing in 2010. They traveled many places together and visited many relatives.
Bud worked for Bendix in South Bend and part-time for Price Nurseries. After retirement, he worked full-time at Price’s for many more years.
He enjoyed gardening and shrubs. Bud loved to eat, especially fudge and brownies. He was a member of the former Gospel Lighthouse Church in Plymouth and now the Church of the Heartland in Plymouth. He also enjoyed watching a good western, especially “Gunsmoke”.
He is survived by his children: Della S. (Dan) Creighbaum, John A. (Dawn) Sellers, Nancy M. (Kelvin) Sellers and Cathy A. Sellers, all of Plymouth; Twelve grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; a special nephews, Jimmy Stahl and many nieces and nephews.
Bud was preceded in death by his wife, parents, grandson Isaiah Sellers, daughter Becky O’Hara, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Friends may visit from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2018 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Steven Patrick officiating. Visitation will resume one hour prior.
Burial will be in the New Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Church of the Heartland, 705 E. Jefferson Street, Plymouth, IN or Cancer Association of Marshall County, 9739 Sunnyside Dr., Plymouth, IN 46563.
