Robert (Bob) L. Warner

December 1, 1954 - June 21, 2023

Robert (Bob) L. Warner, 68, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 peacefully at Center for Hospice Raclin House, Mishawaka.

Born on December 1, 1954 in Plymouth, Indiana he was the son of Charles and Oma (Back) Warner.

He attended LaVille High School graduating with the class of 1973. Bob worked in construction for many years painting and roofing. He also worked at Bomarko in shipping and Del Monte Foods as a machine operator. Through his time working for Bomarko he met Dixie Golden and they were married at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 12, 1990 and had been married for 33 years.

Bob had a great sense of humor that would always put someone at ease. He was a wonderful husband, known as “Super Dad” to his children, he was an amazing provider to his family, making sure that they never went without. Bob had great hands for fixing just about anything and took pride in his yard. Spring was his favorite season and he loved a sunny day.

Resiliency and strength often come to the mind of his family as they remember his battle with cancer years ago and his more recent health issues. Truly a man that loved his family with every fiber of his being and spoiled his grandchildren whenever possible. Family was the joy of his life.

He is survived by his wife Dixie; children: Lacie Warner; Kristina Warner (Brian Hubert); Michelle (Shea) Durr; Robert Warner Jr; Ashli (Joe) Tanner all of Plymouth; Jake Vories of Warsaw; Heather Pittman of Plymouth; Amber Pittman of Rochester; sister Penny Fisher of Plymouth; brother Nick Warner of Plymouth; grandchildren: Chris Warner, Chloe Wacasey, Elayna Warner, Tayveon Warner, Zayne Durr, Amiyah Durr, Kynlee Warner, Matt Ganshorn, Elizabeth Ganshorn, Ryan Ganshorn, Brandon Ganshorn, Alli Tanner, Madison Tanner, Samya Gray, Kobe Gray, Natalia Pittman, Kiara White, Declan Brown, Nadia Brown, Deitric Brown; sister-in-law Alria Warner as well as several nieces and nephews.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, sister Colleen Warner and his brothers: Charles Warner Jr. and Chris Warner, grandchildren: Olivia Warner and Alex Tanner.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 11-1 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow with Pastor Rich Schieber officiating.

Burial will take place in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.

Memorial contributions can be made to Center for Hospice Care, 501 Comfort Pl. Mishawaka, IN 46545.
