Robert Eugene Fisher

Robert Eugene Fisher, 70, was born on June 17, 1955 at Plymouth Parkview Hospital to Elmer and Anna Lousie (Mechling) Fisher.

A lifelong resident of Marshall County, he graduated from Plymouth High School with the Class of 1974. He worked at PiRod in Plymouth until he transitioned to B & P Trucking where he held a dedicated career as a truck driver, retiring on December 31, 2017.

Bob’s greatest joys in life were his grandchildren; he loved spending time with them, working in his vegetable garden, nurturing and harvesting his zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes and squash. His passion for his old Ford and John Deere tractors was shared with them as well. Bob was mechanically inclined and could work on about any small engine.

Those who knew Bob knew that he was quiet and kept to himself. He liked watching videos on YouTube to learn new skills or playing a game of solitaire on the computer.

Bob is survived by his son, Michael (Amanda) Fisher and their children, Braylon and Keenan; siblings, Steve Fisher and Daryl (Judy) Fisher; along with several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
