
Robert L. Croy, 84, passed away in his home, under the loving care of his family on July 15, 2020.
Born in Knox, Indiana, Bob was the son of John H. and Aletha M. (Feece) Croy.
On April 28, 1959 in Plymouth, Bob married Roxanne Elliott. To this marriage came five children: Dennis, Kay, Sara and Doug. Roxanne would pass away on November 14, 2013.
Bob and Roxanne were co-owners of Ziebart Rustproofing for 18 years in Plymouth.
He was a member of the Indiana Laborers Union and worked for Casteel Construction Corporation for 10 years until his retirement in 2001. Bob was also a member of the North Salem Church of God in Plymouth.
On September 29, 2014, Bob took as his companion a lovely lady named Ruth Doll in Plymouth. They shared many laughs, trips and memories together. They wintered in Florida for several years.
For years, Bob enjoyed many seasons of camping, perfecting the landscaping around his home, traveling and relaxing with some casino “therapy.”
He is survived by his children: Dennis (Linda) Croy of Plymouth, Kay (Jeff) Harness of LaPorte, Sara Watson and companion Greg Fultz of Monticello, IN and Doug (Lori) Croy of Longmont, CO; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, with two more expected in November; Ruth, along with her children, Debbie, Charlene, Mark and Scott, and their families; Two “adopted” daughters, Misty “Gabby” Cartwright-Doerscher, of Argos and Mandy Thomas-Bell of MI. Also surviving are his siblings: John (Pat) Croy of South Bend, Dick (Evelyn) Croy of Lakeville and Janice Wozny of Murfreesboro, TN and two sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Roxanne; son David Lee Croy; his parents and his sister, Joanne Rudynski.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 1-3 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N Michigan Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Kurt Litwiller officiating.
Family burial will take place in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth at a later date.

PLEASE NOTE: For your protection, the entire funeral home staff will wear masks. It is highly recommended that family members and their guests do so as well.
