Robert W. “Bob” Keller

Robert W. “Bob” Keller, 73, died at 7:10 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2007, in Miller’s Merry manor, Plymouth.

Born in Chicago, Ill., on March 18, 1934, Bob was the son of Jesse and Margaret Burkrey Keller..

He attended Chicago schools.

On February 26, 1966, in Chicago, Bob and Patricia A. Caruso were married. Pat died on May 28, 2007.

Bob had lived in Chicago, IL; Cassopolis, MI; Harrison, MI; and Bremen, IN before moving to Plymouth in 2004.

He had worked as a brick layer and he and Pat had owned and operated the Wagon Wheel Motel in Harrison, Michigan.

Bob was a avid fisherman, and enjoyed spending his time fixing things.

He is survived by two daughters and three sons.

His daughters are: Toni and Terry Bergel, Oaklawn, Ill., and Grace and Tim Beal, Wheatfield, Ind. His sons are Phil and Dawn Caruso, Demotte, Ind.: Rick and Dee Caruso, Lemott, Ill., and Joe Caruso, Gary, Ind.

Five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

Friends will be welcomed to celebrate the life and share memories of Bob with his family from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 10, 2007 at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, Ind.

Funeral services for Bob will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday September 10, 2007, in the funeral home. The Rev. Steven Resner, pastor of the Calvary Lutheran Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in the New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.

Memorial gifts in Bob’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
