
Rodney W. Reed “JR.” 53, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Northwest Hospital Porter, Valparaiso, IN.
He can’t kick us of us his circle, because he is in our circle forever.
Born on February 16, 1970 in Crown Point, Indiana he was the son of Herman Reed and Nora (Mueller) Hall. He attended Crown Point High School graduating with the class of 1988.
JR. worked at as an Arborist until his retirement. A man with a great sense of humor and the life of the party that could light up a room with his practical jokes including squirting you with water from the moment someone walked into his presence.
Rodney also had a gentle side by always willing to be there for someone by showing his support in any way that he could. In fact, his kind heart was something truly to be admired by all that knew him well. Jr. loved his jeep, motorcycles, hunting for mushrooms and fishing whenever possible.
He is survived by his daughter Jeanie (Brandon) Chambers of Argos; step-daughter Candice Zell of Silver Lake; IN; siblings: Bobbie (Billy) Markul of Hebron, IN; John (Cheryl) Levrio, Debbie Sherman, Cassie (Randy) Bell; grandchildren: Savannah, Anabelle, Marley and Mikayla Chambers of Argos.
JR. is preceded in death by his parents.
Per the wishes of the family a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

My heart breaks for you and your family during this difficult time. I knew JR when I lived up there in Indiana. He helped me on my final move back to Florida. We used to enjoy cooking together in the kitchen making different concoctions, he will be missed. He was always making you laugh. See you on the other side my dear friend.🙏❤️🙏🥲
