Ronald "Moose" Dube

Apr 21, 1943 — Aug 19, 2026

Plymouth

Ronald “Moose” Dube, 83, passed away on August 19, 2026 at his home. Born in Hartford, CT on April 21, 1943, Moose was the son of Dominic D’Nofrio and Jean Dube.

Moose went on to proudly and honorably serve in the United States Army from 1960-1964. Truly a jack-of-all-trades and gifted craftsman, he spent more than 30 years as a Master Carpenter with the Carpenters Local Union 357. Moose was also a member of the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge.

An outgoing and likeable guy by nature, Moose didn’t know a stranger. He had a way of connecting with people wherever he went, but few things brought him as much joy as the open road and the unmistakable sound of a Harley-Davidson. Motorcycles were a lifelong passion for Moose. He began riding at just 14 years old, and his love for Harleys stayed with him throughout his life. That passion eventually led him to start the V-Twin Riders motorcycle club, where he could share the freedom, fellowship, and brotherhood of riding with others.

Along the journey, Moose met Eleanore “Bunny” Wojtalik, who became his beloved wife and partner in life. Moose and Bunny were united in marriage on June 20, 1990, in Dresden, TN.

In 1997, Moose’s life took a profound turn when he was involved in a serious single-motorcycle accident. By the grace of God, he survived—an experience that awakened his faith and became an important part of his testimony. On August 23, 1998, Moose was baptized, publicly affirming his faith in Jesus Christ. From that time forward, he openly shared his testimony and his belief that the Lord’s hand had been upon his life all along.

When Moose and Bunny moved to Plymouth in 2006, they found peace at New Song Church. Together, they became part of a church family where they could grow in their faith and share the Word of Christ with others. Moose was never shy about sharing what the Lord had done in his life.

Moose’s life was marked by the things he held closest: his family, the rumble of a Harley beneath him, the friendships he made along the way, and, above all, his faith in Christ. Those who knew him will remember his outgoing spirit, his love of riding, and his willingness to tell others about the grace of God that had carried him through.

Moose will tell everyone he was B.A.D. and hoped you were too - Blessed and Delivered! We are bad to the bone and praising GOD!

Moose is survived by his beloved wife, Bunny; children, Tracy (Warren) Burchett and Ron (Cathy) Dube, Jr.; step-children, Wendy (Gus) Pettas, Traci (Todd) Wells, and Ralph (Laura) Badtke; grandchildren, Oryanna, Grace, Courtney, Haley, Kelsey, Soula, Brianne, Dimitrios, Christian, Brandon, Ariana, Savanna, Melissa, Ralph Jr. and Aaron; in addition to many, many great grandchildren; along with his siblings, John Cooper, Janice Kuo, Julie Griffin, Susie Wood, and Terry Cooper.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Jean; grandson, Ron “Ronzo” (Kelly) Dube; and his sister, Cheryl Sneed.
