I’m sending my deepest sympathies and prayers to the family at this time. I truly understand the lost of a matriarch of the family based on losing my mother this September as well in the physical form. The strength you need will be bestowed on you during this time by God and most importantly celebrate the joy and beautiful times that you shared with your mother, sister, aunt, grandmother … Take joy in knowing she is now with God looking over you all.

My sincere condolences to all the family. We were neighbors for many years when they lived on Elliott Ave. from Jr. High to beyond High School. It was a great neighborhood to live and grow up in. I don’t see much of anyone from the past anymore but, the memories I think of often and it always brings a smile.

It is with a heavy sense of loss that we will miss Aunt Shirley forevermore. She was such a joy and delight to be around. Her love for her family, her friends, and life in general was just a small part of the inner beauty that outshone her abundant physical blessings. Her pride and joy were also her greatest blessings …. Keith, Kent, Kyle and Carmen and their wonderful and numerous children and grandchildren. Heaven has become the Home to one of God’s greatest Earthly Angels ever …..

Shirley was a blessing to the Plymouth Seventh-day Adventist Church, serving on the church board, as an Assistant Sabbath School Superintendent, Deaconess, and Religious Liberty Secretary (and probably some more things that I don’t remember). We have missed having her at church, and we look forward to the day Jesus comes again and we can all be together once more.
