I have stained glass angel nightlight Sue gave me as a gift. When we moved I put it in our hallway because it was so dark at night. Eventually I found led bulb for it so it burns 24/7. I unplug it when I vacuum and plug it back in when I am done. I did that Sunday and when I plugged back in I thought about her and her family and how much I loved this angel nightlight. I was so stunned to hear she had passed away. We were newspaper carriers together and I always looked forward to chatting with her. We would even talk on the phone too. She was so fun and we had a lot of laughs together. Our parents were also friends so that brought us closer too. Sue was a great mom. Her boys were always first in everything she did. My condolences to her husband Bill, also a great guy and father and to her boys. My angel nightlight means so much more now lighting up the hallway.

I worked at KFC with Bill and Susie many years ago as a second job. I developed a very special friendship with Susie from that point on in our lives. I was raising my daughter as a single mother and she always found a way to help me with whatever she could . I am so blessed that God gave me this beautiful friendship with most loving person. Susie was my maid of honor when I got married and has always been a special friend. My heart is with Bill and the boys and Susie’s extended family throughout these most difficult days

Bill and the rest of the Martin Family.

I am so sorry to hear about your sister. She was a beautiful person. I have such good memories of her when the crew would raid her place of employment.

I told my wife the other day how nice and kind she was to a bunch of HS kids with little or no money in their pockets.

The Martin family has always been a the best to our community. A positive staple to the community

God Bless Sues’ kids, I would love to meet them and let them know how sweet and special she is.

RIP Sue, with a tear in my eye.
