
Susan Raffin, 72, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.
Born on January 11, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois she was the daughter of James and Shirley (Schroeder) Skiller.
She attended Saint Willibrords Catholic School in Chicago, graduating with the class of 1968.
On August 31, 1974 she married Michael T. Raffin Sr. in Chicago. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2007.
Susan worked for RH Donnelley of Chicago for many years and then for JoAnn Fabrics for 24 years before retiring. She was a woman that was full of life and love, who always had a smile on her face and that could fill a room with her laughter. Her faith in God was one that was true and amazing.
She enjoyed sewing, crafting, gardening, trips to the beach and her grandchildren. Her family will always remember her by the ability to show grace and love for others.
She is survived by Michael T. (Janee`) Raffin, Jr. of Plymouth, and two daughters: Gina Marie Raffin-Cambar of New Port Richey, Florida and Angela Lyn Raffin of Plymouth; sister Nancy Hicks of Chesterton, IN; grandchildren: Braxton Raffin, Xavier Wilson, Annabelle Samuels and Cassandra Samuels; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Friends are invited to celebrate Susan’s life and share memories with her family on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 10:30-12:00 pm at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 612 N Walnut St. Plymouth, IN 46563.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held following visitation, at 12:00 p.m. in the Church with Fr. Fernando Jimenez officiating.
Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Plymouth at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to a charity or organization of choice.

I will always remember her smile. Sue was a very loving and caring woman. She always gave 110 percent of herself to all those lucky enough to have known her. She will be missed but never forgotten.
