Tammi Sue Bennitt, 51, of Plymouth passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, January 22, 2019. She was born September 2, 1967 to Richard and Darlene (Lund) Bennitt. Tammi Sue was a true fan of Notre Dame, frequently winning family bets on games. She loved NASCAR and Yahtzee and had a special love for fishing. Tammi loved country music and loved to show off her dance moves anytime she could. Although Tammi Sue faced many challenges, she always took them in stride and overcame. She superseded anyone’s expectations and loved to conquer goals. She attended Marshall-Starke Development Center in Plymouth, IN and The Arc in Pell City, AL. Everyday was started with a smile, usually with her father calling her his “foxy lady”.

Tammi Sue is survived by her loving father and step-mother Richard & Peggy Bennitt; her sisters and their husbands, Shari & Dan Davis and Rhonda & Mike Williamson, her step-father Bob Leamon, step-siblings and their spouses Paul & Jodi Williams, Kim & Chris Corzine, Jodie & Casey Kalinowski, and Robby Leamon; many loving nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles, and a step grandmother. Tammi Sue’s life was touched by two special caregivers Hannah Phelan & Kaitlyn Miller.

Tammi Sue was preceded in death by her mother Darlene “Dolly” Leamon, her grandparents and uncles.

Tammi Sue will be fondly remembered by all whom she touched. Visitation will be held on Sunday February 3, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, Indiana.
