Terry Lynn Blubaugh

Terry Lynn Blubaugh died August 31, 2013 in Temple, Texas. Terry was born on November 27, 1942, in Plymouth, Indiana, to Robert F. Blubaugh and Lois E. South. He graduated from Lincoln High School, Class of 1960. He served in the Indiana National Guard for eight years.

On January 27, 1963 Terry and Marilee S. Morten eloped in Terre Haute, Indiana. Terry’s entire career was in steel manufacturing, retiring as the Chief Operating Officer for Holmes-Hally Industries in Los Angeles, California. Terry and Marilee relocated to Sun City, TX in 2006 where they enjoyed the community and their wonderful neighbors.

He loved his family, photography, his 1960 Austin Healey, and his precious Westie, Maggie. Terry & Marilee traveled extensively, visiting 44 countries and all 50 states.

Terry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marilee; one son, James L. (Carol) Blubaugh; one daughter, Shari S. Blubaugh. His grandson, Kyle L. Blubaugh and granddaughter, Haley M. Blubaugh. His mother, Lois E. Bowman; four brothers: Steve Blubaugh, Dan Bollinger, Dave Bollinger, Jon Bollinger; three sisters: Toni Zablocki, Elizabeth Braun, and Lisa Bollinger; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Blubaugh; his brother, Tim Blubaugh and one nephew, Rob Blubaugh.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. EST on Friday, September 6, 2013 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, Indiana. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, September 7, 2013 in the funeral home, with Rev. Charles Krieg officiating.

Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
