Although ill with cancer, up until a few days before his death, Ted, a very accomplished musician, was singing and playing the guitar. A born entertainer, he loved to make people happy and to see them laugh.

He did that –until almost the very end.

Born in Bluffton, Ind., on December 11, 1938, Ted was the son of Thomas M. and Erma L. Noble Bulger.

He attended school in Wells County, Ind.

He loved music and was very talented on the guitar and almost every other instrument he picked up. Self-taught, he was a fantastic singer and an expert fisherman. After his retirement, he golfed almost every day.

Ted was a member of the Northern Indiana Bassmasters and was champion of his division in 1977, thereby qualifying to go to the national competition. He was also a former member of the Knox Kiwanis Club.

He is survived by Bonnie, his wife of 48 years and by their six children, 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

His one son and six daughters are: Cindy and Keith Rose, Lake Havasu, Ariz.; Tim and Linda Bulger, Schaumburg, Ill.; Cherry Bulger, Porter, Ind. ; Cammy Messer, Plymouth, Ind.; Connie Peace, South Bend, Ind; and Christy Ramsey., Monon, Ind.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Candy Lee Bulger who died in 1961, and a brother, Thomas N. Bulger.
