Thomas “Tom” E. McCan, 54, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 16, 2017 in his residence.

Tom was born August 15, 1962 in Plymouth, Indiana, to Larry and Barbara (Davidson) McCan.

He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1980.

Tom married Christina “Chris” Stull on January 24, 1987 in the First United Church of Christ in Plymouth; and she survives. Tom was self-employed as a general contractor; specializing in residential remodeling. He was a member of Plymouth-Kilwinning Masonic Lodge #149 and the Plymouth Lions Club. He was a hard-worker who always put his family first. He loved spending time with his family, golfing and wood working. Surviving is his wife of thirty years; Chris of Plymouth, daughter; Callie McCan of Plymouth, parents; Larry and Barbara McCan of Plymouth, two brothers; Tony (Sonja) McCan of Plymouth, Timothy (Janna) McCan of Fort Myers, Florida, mother-in-law and father-in-law; Susan and Devon Stull of Plymouth, and a sister-in-law; Brenda (Christopher) Lewis of Plymouth. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. Friends may visit with the family from 4-7 PM on Friday, April 21, 2017 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 North Michigan Street, Plymouth, where a Masonic service will take place at 7:00 PM.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Nathan Haeck officiating.
