Thomas Lee Roe

Thomas L. Roe, 69, passed away with his wife by his side at 9:20 a.m. on Thursday, November 23, 2017 in his home. He and his wife, Delia, have made Tyner their home for the past 18 years.

Tom was born and raised in Winamac, Indiana on June 17, 1948 to Francis J. and Betty J (Isler) Roe. He graduated from Winamac High School with the class of 1968.

Tom served for our country in the United States Navy until his Honorable Discharge on in 1972.

In North Judson, Indiana on October 15, 1988, Tom took Delia G. Alva to be his wife. They got to cherish 29 wonderful years together.

He worked for B&B Molders for 15 years and Eaton in Winamac for 26 years as an injection molding technician.

Tom was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed working in his yard as well as his garden. He also loved cooking and baking. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Delia of Plymouth. Also surviving are his siblings: Diana (John) Kennedy of Dallas, TX, Kevin (Connie) Roe of Winamac, Debra (Ramon) Rodriguez of Denton, TX, Tammy (Dallis) Tiery of Winamac, Kim Grogan of Winamac, Danette (Vincent) Button of Charleston, WV and step-brother, Jim Isler of Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Roe.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 North Michigan Street, Plymouth, with Life Celebrant Jim Smart officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service on Friday.

Inurnment will follow in the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery with Military Honors provided by members of the American Legion Post 27, Veterans of Foreign War- Marshall County Post 1162 and Disabled American Veteran Chapter 42.
