Tom Elsea

November 2, 1958 - June 16, 2022

Tom Elsea, 63, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on November 2, 1958 in Paintsville, Kentucky he was the son of William and Emma (Wright) Elsea.

Tom worked for John’s Manville for 32 years as a Plant Supervisor before his retirement.  He was known to his family and everyone that knew him as a stubborn, honest, blunt to a fault man that was also very hardworking.

He enjoyed playing pool, watching and playing basketball as well as playing poker. His family admired his workmanship, his patience for teaching and taking care of others.

He is survived by his children: Chris Elsea of Plymouth; Tommy (Shana) Elsea Jr. of Knox; Tim (Dorothy) Elsea of Rochester; Corey Possinger of Plymouth; Jamie Elsea of Plymouth; Gregorey Elsea of Plymouth; sister Ollie Pollard of Clarksville, IN; grandchildren: Alexis, Gabriel, Kayla, Tyler, Garrett, Kiera, Baylee, Ethan and Isaiah.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, wife Shannon, his brothers: Robert, Mitchell, Mae, Charles James and Ronnie.

The public is invited to celebrate Tom’s life on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 2-4 pm at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth.
