Trinity Kay Gard

April 11, 2010 — October 25, 2025

Rochester

Trinity Kay Gard, known to those she loved as T-Pot, passed away at Riley’s Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis on October 25, 2025 at the age of 15. Born on April 11, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, she was the daughter of Bridgette (Thomas) Gard and Joshua T.C. Gard.

Trinity loved life and had a smile that could light up a room. She had a feisty, sassy personality and was her momma’s baby through and through. Trintiy didn’t hold back and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. Trinity firmly believed that love is love. An advocate for love and acceptance, Trinity believed that everyone should be free to love who they wished, fiercely supporting the LGBTQIA community and encouraging those around her to do the same.

Attending Rochester High School, Trinity was in the 10th grade. In her free time, she loved to do different crafts, but she especially loved to draw and write. She grew up in the House of the Lord Church in Plymouth and loved to read her bible.

Trinity’s gentle nature shone through in her love for animals and nature. She enjoyed being outside and marveling in God’s beautiful creation.

Trinity is survived by her mothers, Bridgette Gard and Tami Morris; father, Joshua Gard; siblings, Caitlynn Gard and Charlie Morris; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. She will be missed by her favorite cousins, Doccer Tanna, Sarah, and Melissa.

She is preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Akira; and great-grandparents, Lorraine and Frank P. Jackson.

Per Trinity’s wishes, cremation has been chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be directed to Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home towards Trinity's funeral expenses.
